Make your people feel loved

Today, we met our old landlord, a friend of my mom on our way to the market.
They talked for a few minutes, and I had no choice but to listen.

Both of them cherished the memories of the time we lived in that neighborhood.

Then as typical moms, they talked about their children. That aunt, I could call her that way, shared about her sons, daughters, the newly built house, etc.

She was very happy to share that her youngest son is fond of her, even after getting married and having kids.

She would pretend to sleep while her son visits her room and checks on her at night.

For her it brings more happiness than anything, I felt it when she said about it, she was glowing.

It took a while for me to process and realize the hidden meaning here.

If you truly care for someone, don’t just tell them; make them feel loved. It matters more to them.
